Getting the unit was easy and the woman who helped us was nice. They offer military discount which is nice but the process to get it is ridiculous. I had to fill out paperwork then take it back to my unit and have them fill it out too. I went without the discount because I’d rather just show my military ID which was available. Do not store your stuff here!!!! Every time we went to check on our unit it was dead mice everywhere including find one in our unit. We told the front office and they came to pick it up but did not fix the problem because on our last day it was still dead mice and mice droppings everywhere. I watch ppl move out of there unit and clean mice poop off all their stuff before loading. I had to spend about $50 on rodent deterrence and traps. I did not have a mouse in the unit after but shouldn’t have these issues. You’re gonna pay about $135 a month for a unit in a building with a mouse infestation, no garbage available, and limited access to your belongings.

There is mice that eat through your things and we also weren’t able to use the dumpsters. We pay all that money and can’t even throw things away which was just ridiculous to me. Like people are moving or downsizing, ofcourse we should be able to throw things away.

Apparently they just changed randomly from Affordable family storage and didn't notify any of their clients beforehand and clearly after. I spent nearly 2 hours trying to get into contact with customer service. Just for their payment system to not be set up so I couldn't get into my storage at all. We drove over an hour to get to the storage and paid for our Uhaul just for us to have wasted gas and several hundred dollars just for them to not be able to help at all. I never had this issue before the switch. Now I'm being forced to pay for another month instead of being able to get my stuff.

Marcia is the best, she explained the process of how I could lose my unit, wayyyy better than the 1800 number. I was told I would lose my unit. Turns out that wasn't true. She showed patience and understood what I was saying. She listened to my sob story with in reason, but re-assured me there is a possibility if you don't pay within the companies guidelines. Reserved a unit online, went to location to pay for unit and sign paperwork and the property manager was there walking around the office, but refused to open the door or answer the phone and it's been 2 days and still no reply to my voice-mail. Good thing they didn't get any money from me. Place had mountains of trash and furniture behind the store. Glad I found elsewhere fast!

Got a unit at this place for one rate a few months back. A few weeks ago, I got a notice that there would be a rate increase: nothing too crazy, right? Prices change all the time. I did the math and my rate has raised by 20%. I sent two emails to inquire why this raise was happening and got no reply. I had to call. The hourly who answered helped as much as they could, but this was not much. They offered that this was to match the demand of the market; of course, when I asked whether I should expect the rate to increase or decrease, they were unable to answer my question. While I can understand an incremental increase to match the market, raising a price by a fifth feels completely unbalanced. I would give one star for this practice, but the space itself has been reliable. It really is unfortunate that this financial piece has to come up, because before this, I was quite satisfied with my experience here. When one pays monthly for a service, one expects certain levels of consistency. That is no longer something I expect from this business.

Went into the building to check my unit and there was a homeless man sleeping in one of the entrances and the door opens for anyone who walks up. No security code was needed and no one on the premises was present to even monitor the situation.

Im truly convinced most of the good reviews are staged. This storage unit will not work with you bc it’s a pandemic so let’s began there. You will loose everything and they will quickly profit. You cannot make online payments which is so convenient. If you get paid on Thursday you will not be able to make a payment til next day, unless you get paid earlier enough on Thursday. You will be charge a late fee. So if you can’t reCh anyone than expect to pay late fee because there is no 24 hour payment option like uhaul. I can’t wait to remove my items from this place, I will never use or recommend to anyone. Oan by the way the access door is always jacked up after hours.

Can you restart affordable family storage I gave you one star because I don't have personal experience with being at your facility or renting a unit from your facility in which from Google Maps address and approached me on my device asking how was my experience with you guys there on the day that I received the prop to leave a review on your site and I had not been there because again I have not rented which since I've had fraud issues I should maybe question if there's a different last name or something associated with my information is being used at your facility because I wasn't anywhere close to your facility I did not stop there I drove around the area Okay so however it distinguished that I was at your facility or that I have I have used your facility I'm unaware of if not negative this one's more negative because I'm not going to have you tell me I need to take it off when it asked for my opinion and I gave my opinion I didn't say anything at all remotely negative about your facility because again I have not experienced anything personally with using your facility but now I will file a formal complaint because that was completely upset and in your request for me to take it down after you requested for me to give my review and I hadn't even been at your facility does it really make sense now does it maybe you should re-evaluate your approach in your position I would say I'm taking that kind of negative for you to come at me like that when your facility is the one who asked my opinion because it was assumed I had been there so maybe you should check into that or I can send a lawyer to

I have actually never been here and have never rented a storage unit from the facility I have just driven by numerous times on my way to somewhere else. Hard for me to want to rent storage facility since I've had bad experiences with people stealing my things or stealing my keys and changing storage units with my belongings but if I ever use it I'll make sure to put a review on here and let you know what I think about it

I was able to walk in and get assisted right away, as this rental was a spur of the moment thing. Everything I needed to know was clearly explained. The units are clean and accessible. My only concern is the wire mesh covering the top, which will only prevent honest people from cutting and entering, but with 24/7 monitoring that problem becomes mute. First, I was very impressed with the facility, all new, all clean, all climate controlled. Thereafter, everything went very nicely. The manager was friendly and accommodating. So now I have a storage space. I like it very much and hopefully use it to sort trough my things before I move into a smaller space than my house. I want to mention 2 things that I thought could be changed, first, the manager was in a lengthy meeting with the company and therefore could not pay attention to me and to the meeting. I suggest to hold such meetings outside of office hours rather than closing the facility when it should be open. Second was the bathroom. I got lost in the maze of the storage facility until logic told me to look close to an exit, bingo. Signs might help!

She was very informative and patient with me as I played 20 questions. She reserved our unit and scheduled a time for us to go in the next day. The following day, we went in to sign the paperwork.
