In 2020, my daughter and son in law, my grandson's parents died. We had an unimaginable amount of "stuff" to deal with, as my grandson was moving in with me. Right around then, your facility in Newport, KY opened. We rented a small unit. We filled it with boxes memories, pics, etc. Well, out of sight, out of mind. My grandson and I made a concerted effort to clear the storage cube out. He is a full time college student, working 4 jobs, and I am 74 years old with poor mobility. Yesterday, 4-16 was the birthday of my daughter, and after clearing out, mopping and emptying the unit, I finally closed our account. I have not had any experience with storage units, but have heard stories of not being clean, bugs, and safety issues, etc. I found this one to always be very clean, no infestations, and well monitored. Always felt safe working in our unit. When I closed the Account Paul-MarKeith was one of the people I dealt with. He was very polite, co-operative and professional. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe, clean place to store your valuables. Five star plus!!! My only negative comment would be how much the cost of rental rose throughout the past 4 years, but you get what you pay for. Good job and thank you!!!!

Super simple to apply to. Didn't even need to speak with anyone to access the unit as they emailed everything. I did go inside to double-check because I didn't notice the email, and Christian walked us to the unit and explained everything thoroughly. The units are spotless. I just would like to take the time to say how wonderful the Newport Cube Smart Storage units are, and super happy I chose them. One they are always clean, safe and secure and so very convenient especially during bad weather. Paul that works in the office is super helpful and kind. He was able to help me get a good Competitive price when I moved here from Boston. He also was able to help me with billing issue and helped take care of the solution. Paul always calls me back if I have questions or need help with something with the unit. I would definitely give them 10 stars if I could.

Superior customer service all the way around! I worked with the General Manager through the entire process. He listened to my needs, offered me an upgrade and promotional pricing and walked my son and I thoroughly through the rental process. The facility itself is also very clean and easy to navigate. They offer all accommodations to meet your needs. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great storage facility!

These guys, esp Paul & Alicia, have been so amazing to work with! I have three storage buildings with them and when I’m looking for a new one in a specific location, they’ll keep an eye out for me and even call me when it opens up! They are such great communicators and reward me for being a consistent customer, which I really appreciate! Highly recommend this location and working with those two!

Paul the store manager is very informative for any questions you may have. They are affordable for the location and it's air controlled which is even better! You can never go wrong with this business at all! The sizes of the units are great and they do have carts you can use to haul your items to your unit. I would recommend this location to everyone who is looking to store their items.

I had a last minute change to my moving plans, I found a storage unit at Cube Smart on the fly w the help of the manager, Paul. I then booked an extra unit the next day, but ended up not needing it... it was no hassle to book it in the first place and no hassle to then cancel... and Alicia helped me process the order with no worries. Very grateful for their help in a stressful time.

I have loved this storage unit, as the cleanliness and safety of it surpasses any others. I’ve paid for the unit for over a year. In the past year however, my rent has been raised twice for a total of $40 extra per month. During a global pandemic at that…I’m looking at other locations now, as there’s no way I could afford a $40 yearly increase if that trend continues. Super disappointed.

Our unit flooded causing over $13k in loss and damage. We were not made aware of the water leak until 3+ days after it occurred. By the time we got to the unit there was already mold growing on items. We weren’t given any financial compensation for damages or to help us move units. We were told we were responsible for moving everything to the new unit ourselves and we were not given any type of dumpster to discard ruined items. It was clear that we were just a number to cubesmart, they do not care about their customers or the situations that cubesmart facilities cause.

Starting and ending the lease was so easy, pricing was upfront (no hidden fees), storage units were easy to access (24/7 access with garage doors so you can pull into the building), units were easy to find, and staff was extremely helpful.

I was in the difficult position of having to move out of my previous apartment before my new rental was ready. I choose to utilize CubeSmart in Newport as it was highly recommended to me and close to my new place. It proved to be a godsend, extremely clean and secure, easily accessible, very competitively priced, and easy to initiate the lease. Steve the manager was a big help in the process. Poor customer service. Poor communication skills. poor customer service. Poor communication feels. Condescending tones when dealing with customer. Unit was not accessible attempted to relocate. Left the customer outside in the heat while getting information on another unit. It was extremely hot. I had on a mask. No excuse. Was unable to get a better unit and basically said tough luck
