We have used this facility in Odenton for a couple of years. Downsizing as we get rid of stuff as it can get expensive. Tina has been wonderful to work with , advising us on what size would be appropriate and checking on what she has available. She is hardworking and very pleasant always . This facility has been my favorite storage unit. I move a lot because of work, so I do use storage units quite a bit. This place had an excellent deal day one, which was cool. But thanks to talking to someone over the phone, I got a better deal for a unit fitting my parameters better. Super clean, no issues, and closing at was great. Tina and Chris were super nice even though I was being a little pain in the butt because I accidently removed my lock early with a desk still in there. 5 out of 5 for sure.

Ive had a small storage unit at Cube Storage for about 2 years (since 2021) always paid in time never had an issue with the company. Im at a point where I need a bigger one so I called the number online and made a reservation talked to a nice rep named Sharon told her “I chose them because I already have one there” she proceeded with her offer of 15% off and 1st month free. GREAT!…received a call from Chris at the location to confirm the reservation. A few days later received a call from Tina at the location to confirm the reservation. It wasn't until AFTER I completed my contract online and the day of my move in that I received a call that because I already had a unit there that I was not eligible for the 1st month free promotion. AFTER speaking to 3 different people 1 who I'm sure works in the call center and 2 people that work at the location for @ 5 days BEFORE I was scheduled for a move in. It wasn't until I signed the contract and the day I move in that “this was caught” and I had to pay the balance of the unit. Horrible inconvenience, communication, and incompetence when it comes to policy. It was also insinuated that I did the reservation online which i did not. I’ll probably be closing all my units in a few days. Not just because of a discount but based off principle.

Very deceptive business practices! First month free!! THAT IS A LIE!! They still charge you, they simply disguise it as an admin fee of $29. I went in expecting not to pay anything and before I know it I was paying $62! The application is electronic and takes 5 minutes to process, so how are they justifying $29 for an admin fee??? And the minimum insurance is $12, which they require you to have. My rental insurance for my entire apartment is only $11. Lastly, after Chris shows me the unit and I said I will take it, he immediately opens a new lock and put it on the storage unit. When we get downstairs and he is presenting me with the bill, THEN he tells me I'm being charged $18 for the locker! He should of informed me of the cost and gave me the option of bringing in my own. I didn't have anything to store at that time, so I didn't need to have a lock at that moment. They are very nice and pleasant, but those smiles are deceptive!

Can’t Recommend this place enough. The staff is Fantastic. Miss Tina was great and informed me of all options and very Hospitable. Chris walked me around showing me several units to get the perfect match. Both went above and beyond to get me the right place and make sure I was happy. On top of being friendly and professional and answering all my questions the place is run very well. Everything is clean and working properly and even the welcome bag inside the unit was a nice touch. I’m very happy I chose this location. 5 stars across the board! Tina, the manager, is awesome! The company does not pro-rate your payment so whatever you pay it's pretty much gone. Or so I thought. Ms. Tina went to bat for me and simply asked corporate if they could do a partial refund. Never had a storage management team, who actually put customer service at the top of their list. If you don't ask then you automatically gave yourself a fail and you're leaving money on the table.

I was at your storage Saturday and experienced the WORST display of customer service. I over heard another customer asking management for assistance because they seemed to have had a package fall into another unit. The manager was very rude and nasty to the customer. The manager was yelling throughout the parking lot stating her name is Tina and she didn’t care about anything. The level of disrespect displayed was unaccepted and should not be tolerated. I have a storage unit here with some family members, but after witnessing another customer be disrespected, we will be leaving this storage. Your manager, Tina, could use some customer service training.

Wanted to cancel the recurring charge to my account asked to cancel on the 4th of November. My unit was paid in full through 22 November but was forced to remove my lock that day. But then they refuse a refund of the days they were taking the unit back. So you charge me for the 5th thru the 22nd then charge someone else for the same unit over the same time span or refuse to cancel the recurring charges. Don’t set up auto-pay they will screw you over. Just pay month to month so they can’t force you to move out well before you should have to without crediting your money back. The staff at this newly-acquired location is excellent and have been a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, when CubeSmart bought out this facility in June/July2021, they immediately terminated the existing 10% discount for military veterans. They also opted to slash the discount for active-duty military in half. Since CubeSmart management has made clear their lack of appreciation for military veterans, I’m taking my business elsewhere, effective immediately. EDIT: I elevated this issue before terminating, to no avail - I won’t be emailing.

Update: I was very happy when I started storing my stuff at the original local business in 2021, but about 6 months after I opened my unit, the company was sold to CubeSmart. Local staff are no longer empowered to handle billing at all, it's all done via app, and my rate has increased twice, from $170 when i started to $240 now. It's still a clean facility with good staff, but I don't think they have the truck anymore, and it's gotten very expensive. I'll be closing my account here in a couple months. Original: I stored a house worth of stuff there, and I have only good things to say. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the facility is clean and secure. The truck rental was a great perk, and the prices are competitive with the other self-storage facilities in the area. Highly recommend!

Additionally I do like the fact that there is double security for entrance into units. There’s a gate you must enter your code in to get into the parking lot where the units are housed, as well as a gate to enter the door to the units. I would highly recommend.

I was also able to use their moving van with carts that made my move soooo much easier. It cost almost nothing to use this van. They also gave me 50% off for 3 months which really helped alot. First I would like to say "Thank You" to Keith F. He was pleasant, polite, and professional. Keith was on a call with a client when I entered the office. He acknowledge my presence, I couldn't help but admire how he handled what I could tell was a completed conversation. Originally reserved space at another un-name storage company, however I saw Self Storage Zone in route to the other storage facility. It was easy to noticed that the building was new. My first thought it would be outside my budget. NOT! their units are affordably price plus I had the luxury of reserving a unit during their promotional period. The facility is wonderful. They maintain a 24/7 video surveillance...in short I felt comfortable knowing that I was storing my valuables at facility that was safe, secure, and well monitored, with friendly staff.

I followed the site manager, Keith, from a different Self Storage Zone location due to his care and attention to my needs there. This time was no different and he secured the best size and place in the facility available. When all that I own is being stored, being valued as a customer also means so much. The facility is kept clean and during this time of Covid-19 all safety guidelines are followed making for an all around great place to use for my storage needs. Highly recommended!

Self Storage Zone - Odenton is a brand new storage facility in Odenton, MD and I must say it's the best commercial storage property I have ever done business with! The staff there are OUTSTANDING! Very helpful, excellent customer service and friendly. The security features at the facility are top of the line and the monthly prices are also very reasonable. A lot cheaper than Public Storage. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Odenton's Self Storage Zone!

We were greeted by really friendly staff as soon as we walked in. The gentleman who helped us showed us several different size units and was up front with all the prices. The facility is new and extremely clean. In a great location right outside of Fort Meade. Military discount and lots of specials! Really appreciate the friendliness and willingness to help. Definitely recommend.
