I had a terrible experience with this storage facility. Initially speaking with the property manager at this location James it went great. When I got to the facility the explanation of the facility was rolled out with the payment part first(stressing on that part) then immediately with lien and auction emphasis. I have units in other facilities in different states with a mixture of competitors and was never addressed with these things at the start of the tour. The facility was opened with one set of elevators working. The manager gave me a unit to the back the facility near a working elevator. I wanted to be the front of the building not to the back but I took it because another facility that was being build across the street wasn't complete. I called the facility twice asking for the property manager and got another employee who was very rude. After this I decided to move out of the facility. I still recommend this facility to a family member because it was clean and the location was good. My relative made a reservation to hold a unit until they got time off to move into there unit. They confirmed their unit with the lady at the facility. The facility lady let them know they had 30 days for there unit hold due to their work schedule throughout the tristate they wanted to make sure that they had time. They were assured it was no worries. My relative called the property manager after to let him know that they would be coming in at a later time but I would be coming in for them. He told them that there reservation said the move in date was on the 1 of the month. Obviously, when reserving online you have to input a date otherwise you can't move forward with reserving your hold. However, it wasn't an issue because the policy is a hold is good for 30 days and previous facility lady that they spoke with had all ready confirmed it for them. The day they got time off they called to let the property manager know that they were coming in that day. So they would pay online and everything would be ready when they arrived the same day. The property manager told them he canceled their unit! He said that they reserved to move in the 29th which was untrue and when my relative asked is the policy not 30 days hold for the unit............? He said yes, then proceeded quickly walk past what he did and get loud with them. My relatives and I contacted Cube corporate and they said that the district manager for that area is the one that handles the situation. Reached out to that manager Luie, and he only wanted to communicate by TEXT! Your the district manager to resolve issues and your handling a customer by TEXT. I have never heard this. Apparently Posh Storage(Cube Storage) thinks that customers need them and not the other way around.This was a waste of my money, a waste of referring them to other people and time. Unprofessional, rude, prejudice. and fascist. I don't recommend if I give 'ZERO' stars this would be the best rating.
